Graphic designer and illustrator María Jesús Contreras studied her craft at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Now, her work is published globally in magazines and digital publications, as well as on the covers of music releases. María’s art features loud and saturated colors and is filled with memories of childhood through pop culture references. She’s also obsessed with creating creatures, whether human or animal or even inanimate objects with faces and emotive features. In our interview with her, we spoke about how both fear and comedy influence her work. María has been published by It’s Nice That, So Young Magazine, Joia and many more.
