Based in LA, Lawrence Azerrad is a Grammy award-winning art director, graphic designer and author. In 2001, he founded LAD, a multidisciplinary branding and design studio in LA. The company has worked with clients from Miles Davis to The Beach Boys, from Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum to Red Hot Chili Peppers. Lawrence’s love of design and his belief in its power to elevate humanity is perhaps why he is so dedicated to Concorde. His lifelong obsession with what was once the most famous plane in the world resulted in a book – “Supersonic: The Design and Lifestyle of Concorde.” The definitive celebration of the jet’s design, from the cutlery to the seat covers, was featured on WePresent, as we learned what it was that drew Lawrence in and how it felt to fly on the plane that captured his soul.
