Kimya Gandhi is a type designer from Mumbai, currently living in Berlin, with a passionate interest in Indic letterforms. Often inspired by home, it’s her memories of hand-painted theater posters, street signages and hand-lettered sign boards that hung outside local shops now filter into her work as a type designer. She walked us through three of her typefaces, and the intricate steps that made them.
