Dutch documentary photographer Iris Haverkamp Begemann explores how identity and social constructs influence our perception and experience of shared realities. Her past projects have looked at individuals who shaved their heads during the COVID-19 pandemic and female truck drivers in the Australian outback; and her work has been exhibited widely across Amsterdam. In 2022, WePresent featured “I Went on a Holiday to the Country You Fled From,” a photography and text collaboration between Haverkamp Begemann and writer and activist Alejandra Ortiz.
