Kenyan artist Dennis Muraguri’s practice is dedicated to capturing his perspective on the modern sites and scenes in his home country. The majority of his works focus on matatus, beautifully-painted minibus taxis that zoom around the roads blaring music, and the vehicles are his main inspiration. He uses woodcut prints on paper to capture the vibrancy of the matatus in the midst of bustling Nairobi street scenes.
