Milan-based artist Alessandro Paglia’s hyper realistic representations of everyday objects like a pair of sneakers, hat or a crumpled hundred-dollar bill seem, to the naked eye, as if they’re about to jump off the paper. His black and white sketches test the limits of elegance, using simply pen, ink and watercolor paper—each piece can take anything from 50 to 250 hours to complete. Alessandro’s work was featured as part of “Your Work Here,” a massive open call to WeTransfer users to submit their artwork on the theme of "black and white."
