Melbourne-based artist Zoë Croggon works with sculpture, video and primarily, collage. Her practice considers the relationship between the kinetic body and its surroundings, showcasing the seemingly contrasting yet wondrous combination of concrete and movement, buildings and sports, architecture and dance. With her first solo show in a national gallery at just 27, Zoë’s work has been exhibited from Melbourne to London to great acclaim. Drawn to the bold fluidity of her work, WePresent caught up with her to discuss her in-depth thought process, her choice of material, and her interest in interrogating conscious and unconscious movement in relation to space.
