Tokyo-born, London-based Yuri Suzuki is a sound artist, designer and electronic musician. An avid collaborator, Yuri has worked with a whole spectrum of creative and commercial clients including will.i.am, Jeff Mills and Google. His work can be seen in several international museum collections, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York, and he’s had both solo and group exhibitions at the Tate Britain London, Mudam Luxembourg and the Museum of Modern Art Tokyo. In 2016, he received the Designer of the Future award at Design Miami and was appointed a partner at Pentagram two years later. We asked Yuri to contribute to our Manifesto series in which we invite activists and creatives with something to say to write 10 rules to live by, in order to help spread their message. The result was a very special edition brought to life by Team Suzuki, a small and dynamic group of designers who focus on the creation of sound, design and experience in a democratic and inclusive way.
