Paris based Yann Arthus-Bertrand is an environmentalist, activist, filmmaker, journalist and photographer. For his film “Human,” Yann and his team recorded more than 2000 interviews over the course of three years in 60 different countries to create what has been described as a “love letter to humanity.” Yann is no stranger to mammoth projects (in scale and message) shown by his books (“Earth from Above,” 2009) and other films (“Home,” 2009, “7 Billion Others,” 2003, and “Woman,” 2020) to name but a few. We caught up with Yann to talk about his magnificent undertaking, “Human,” and about the impact he hoped it would have.
