Vicente Manssur is a freelance photographer from Guayaquil, Ecuador. Previously working in marketing and feeling unfulfilled and at a premature career “dead-end,” he started traveling around the country, then to other parts of South America, beginning to photograph his journeys as he went. Initially drawn to landscape photography, he soon developed a fascination with street photography, and to documenting everyday moments in people’s lives. We featured his project “Media Distancia” which saw him capture the lesser-known, rarely-photographed parts of Catalonia normally only seen from train windows.
