Based in Oval, South London, Ustwo are a small (but great) games studio. With their origins in a UX/UI design studio background, they care about making sure every game is platform-perfect, bringing what is meaningful about games to all those people who don’t consider themselves gamers. Their creations – from mobile to VR to console – have received widespread acclaim and awards, including BAFTA and Apple Design award for their first release “Monument Valley” and its sequel “Monument Valley II,” which followed three years later. The team spoke to WePresent about why they took their time, why they wanted motherhood to be central to the gameplay, and how they hope their designs can “help you reflect on the relationships in your own life”.
