Ugo Gattoni is a French illustrator who specializes in detailed and surreal drawings and murals. Following the hyped publication of his book, “Bicycle,” in 2012, Ugo began collaborating with numerous fashion houses such as Ruinart and Cartier. We discovered Ugo after his collaboration with Hermès, “Hippopolis” – a series of mind-bending horse illustrations created for a run of scarves. In our interview, Ugo spoke about how he builds up layer after layer in his designs. He’s exhibited his work globally, and collaborated with Pierre Frey, Diptyque and many more.
