Based in London, Tuur Van Balen is an artist working across objects, installation and film. He is one half of an artist duo with Revital Cohen, and they focus on themes of geopolitics, biology and industry. We featured both artists around the time of their exhibition at the Serpentine, “Heavens” – an immersive audiovisual work that tried to tell a new story about our planet. This feature on Revital Cohen & Tuur Van Balen was the first in WePresent’s Groundwork collaboration with the Serpentine. Tuur Van Balen is also a lecturer in design at Goldsmiths, and has exhibited work globally.
