Tripod City is a UK-based photography collective consisting of Charlie Kwai, Paul Storrie and Chris Lee. Each photographer has a completely different style, and the idea of the collective is that by capturing their subjects from three different perspectives they create an even richer work of art. The trio have taken their project to countries around the world – from China to Ghana – to document the culture and debunk some of the most persistent stereotypes. We discovered them via their series “Sweet Dreams,” which explored the themes of love, life and death at the heart of Mexican culture.
“That’s what the project is really about – it’s about portraying an intimate street photography version of that country.”
