Born in Johannesburg, Trevor Noah is one of the most successful African comedians of all time. He’s a skilled political satirist, and exercises this as the host of the award-winning “The Daily Show” on Comedy Central. Trevor has released numerous comedy specials on Netflix and Comedy Central, and was the subject of David Paul Meyer's award-winning documentary film, “You Laugh But It's True.” We collaborated with him to create an animated short in which he speaks his thoughts on the controversial debate around safe spaces, before Australian animator Alex Grigg proceeded to bring Trevor’s thoughts to life. He’s won various awards, including an MTV Africa Music Award and a Primetime Emmy Award. In 2018, TIME magazine named him one of the hundred most influential people in the world.
