Taxi Fabric is a crowdfunded project that was created in Mumbai by Sanket Avlani, Mahak Malik, Nathalie Gordon and Girish Narayandass. The idea is to give local creatives the opportunity to design the fabrics which would then adorn the interiors of the city’s iconic taxis. We featured Taxi Fabric and interviewed one of its founders, Sanket, about what they wanted to achieve with the idea. Taxi Fabric has received support from brands like Google India, as well as foundations and NGOs.
