Tahnee Kelland is a painter and muralist based in Mandurah, Western Australia. Her painting is heavily inspired by symbolism and folk art, and has a serene and meditative atmosphere. We featured Tahnee on WePresent after seeing her series, “Awkward” – a collection of paintings that hilariously captures how it feels to feel silly, clumsy and awkward in life, but also the feeling of hope that can come when those times are overcome. Tahnee’s work has been featured in Marie Claire and the West Australian STM magazine, and she has collaborated with the Australian designer CAMILLA.
“Those hard times feel horrible but we need them to grow emotionally.”
