Somayeh is an Iranian born director, editor and photographer. Her work combines surrealism and realism, as her eye for the cinematic moment meets her Interest in emotive narratives to blur the lines between fiction and reality and paint complex pictures of the human condition. We featured her film “Skin of Water,” which explores grief, guilt and the loved ones we leave behind.
