SlimJim Studios is the brainchild of James Curran, an animation director based in Los Angeles. James has garnered a reputation for creating technically advanced and visually charming GIFs. In a series he calls “GIFathons,” he created and published one GIF every day for a month, inspired by a particular city. He’s also worked extensively for brands including Nike, Lucozade, Jolly Rancher, and Axe, and was even offered a job by Steven Spielberg after his Tintin-inspired animation became a viral sensation.
