British musician, composer, actor, and self-styled “'extreme sound freak” Simon Fisher Turner is renowned for creating poignant TV and film soundtracks. A winner of the prestigious Ivor Novello Award, he scored a number of films for the late Derek Jarman, including his seminal 1993 film “Blue,” and has composed scores for a number of reissued silent films. In 2023, Fisher Turner was part of BLUE NOW, a series of live performances of Derek Jarman's seminal film “Blue,” presented by WeTransfer.
