Silvana Trevale is a Venezuelan photographer and director based between New York and London. Her portrait-based work fuses documentary and fashion, and she seeks to celebrate the intrinsic beauty of the human body, her Latin American roots, womanhood, youth and the realities of people around her. We featured her project “Muñecas and Muñequerxs,” made in collaboration with art director and stylist Daniela Benaim, which explores the living tradition of doll-making in Guanajuato, Mexico.
