Based in Amsterdam, Shai Langen is a material designer and visual artist. When we first came across his work we were both terrified and fascinated, and decided to feature it on the site. His art focuses on the human body, but simultaneously morphs it into something unsettling and alien. Whether he’s painting his models or designing sculptural headpieces, he aims to open minds towards the future possibilities of the human body and its form. Shai graduated from the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht, and has exhibited his work in the worlds of both art and fashion.
