Born in Spain and now based in Berlin, Raúl Soria illustrates well-defined concepts with quirky and colorful illustrations rooted in humor and childlike simplicity. At this point, Raúl has created work for It's Nice That, the New York Times and Google, and has a love for editorial in particular. But his career in illustration almost didn’t happen: He initially studied tourism and was heading to a career in hospitality before he decided to make a change. We spoke to him about the media’s renewed interest in illustration and his approach to editorial work on WePresent.
