Drag queen and filmmaker Peaches Christ is a lover of all things camp, cult, and cinema. The immersive “Midnight Mass” film series she programs in San Francisco are legendary, adding live theater and audience participation to compliment the on-screen action. (Think strippers in drag taking to the stage at a screening of Showgirls.) A number of celebrity guests have dropped in too, including John Waters and Pam Grier. Peaches featured on WePresent as part of Notes from the Underground, an interview series featuring some of the most unusual creative minds working today. The series was curated by Dr Nelly Ben Hayoun, founder of the University of the Underground.
