Born in France, Nelly Ben Hayoun is an award-winning designer of experiences, filmmaker and artist, working at the intersection of film, science, tech, theater, politics and design. She’s also our chief of experiences here at WeTransfer, and the director of Nelly Ben Hayoun Studios. We featured her profound initiative, The University of the Underground, which aimed to teach students how to change a system from within, and explore opportunities through disruption. This university was free, and its board members included Noam Chomsky, Pussy Riot, and Massive Attack. Nelly has given keynote speeches around the world, and had her work exhibited at the National Museum of China, MOMA, V&A, the MET and other leading institutions.
