Nana Kwadwo Agyei Addo is a Ghanaian artist and photographer whose work is rooted in a lifelong fascination with images. His practice is, in many ways, an attempt to return to childhood feelings: the excitement of encountering an image that makes you stop, look again, imagine a story and wonder about the world beyond the frame. Photography, fashion, portraiture and storytelling become ways of building worlds that feel somewhere between something remembered and something imagined. We featured his work documenting joy and resistance in Accra’s Ballroom scene.
