Brazil’s Na Manteiga Radio is the brainchild of four friends and music lovers: Thiago Arantes, Caio Taborda, Luiz Gabriel Vieira and Marcel Buainain. Inspired by the likes of Amsterdam’s Red Light Radio and Andrew Weatherall, they’ve created a radio station where local DJs are liberated to play anything and everything. We featured Na Manteiga as part of our Now Playing series, which championed some of the most interesting online radio stations in the world.
