Born in New York and based in Berlin, Mustafah Abdulaziz is an award-winning documentary photographer, and has been published in Der Spiegel, the New Yorker, TIME and The Guardian. It was his eye-opening series about water – an ongoing 15-year long project in which he plans to visit 32 countries to uncover people’s attitudes towards it – that we showcased on WePresent. He’s already visited India, Sierra Leone, Nigeria, and China to photograph pollution, droughts and erosion, and he’s been exhibited around the world and received support from the United Nations and WaterAid. He’s also a fellow of the 53rd Annual Fellowship of The Alicia Patterson Foundation.
