Movimento 90° is the studio of Brazilian landscape artist Guil Blanche. After observing a lack of green space in his heavily populated city of São Paulo, Guil decided to take action. His studio specializes in turning empty facades on buildings into vertical gardens and green roofs, and inviting artists to design them. Guil spoke to us in depth about how his ingenious project helps to tackle climate change in a myriad of ways. Movimento 90° has become extremely popular in São Paulo, and Guil has collaborated with the city’s mayor on numerous urban planning projects.
