Amsterdam-based photographer and director Mirka Laura Severa is an artist with a flair for the surreal and the unusual. Her work crosses into art direction, set design and photography, and everything she creates requires a much closer look than it may first demand. We featured Mirka’s bizarre yet beguiling exhibition, “Sunny Side Up,” in which she created a fictional artist and fictional artworks that satirized our collective obsession with sunrises and sunsets.
