Based in London, Micha Frazer-Carroll is a writer who has worked for The Independent, The Guardian, and Gal-Dem. Her work centers on the theme of liberation, which she explores through the prism of culture, politics, race, gender and disability. We collaborated with Micha on a survey we conducted of 300 creative professionals, asking them questions about the relationship between their creativity and their mental health. The responses showed that this relationship is often paradoxical: while creative work can be therapeutic, once pursued professionally it becomes a crux for their mental health. Micha took those results and explored the correlations within them, speaking about the connection between our minds and what we make.
