Based in the UK, Manjit Thapp is an illustrator who combines traditional and digital media to create rich and layered artworks. In March 2021, her first graphic novel “Feelings: A Story in Seasons” was published by Penguin Random House. It followed the story of one woman throughout a 12-month period, as her emotions and moods were influenced by the changing seasons around her. Manjit’s illustrations of strong women – from Margot from “The Royal Tenenbaums” to Malala Yousafzai – caught our eye, and we featured some of her portraits alongside an interview about her process. Manjit’s clients include Adobe, Apple, Cartoon Network, Harper’s Bazaar and more, and her solo exhibition, “My Head is a Jungle,” was held at NOW Gallery, London, in 2021.
