French illustrator Malika Favre’s talent is in her ability to capture the pure essence of the thing she’s trying to depict, and then delivering it in vibrant and ethereal colors. This was most evident in her work for the art series “On The Draw,” which we featured on WePresent. Malika was sent to Tenerife to capture the spirit of the island in a series of illustrations; the resulting work was a subtle and dreamy depiction of surfers on sand dunes, sun-bleached churches and lonely hot roads. Malika’s clients include the New Yorker, Vogue, BAFTA, Sephora and Penguin Books, and many others.
