Based in LA, Madame Gandhi is an electronic music producer, drummer, artist and activist known for her uplifting messages of gender liberation and feminism. She first went viral back in 2015 when she ran the London Marathon while free-bleeding as a statement against menstrual stigma. Since then, she’s given popular TED Talks, been listed in Forbes’ “30 Under 30” and released numerous studio albums. In a bespoke film commissioned by WeTransfer to celebrate International Women’s Day in 2017, Gandhi collaborated with Deidre O’Callaghan to issue a message of hope to viewers around the world.
“What if we were evaluated by how good we are and by our strength of character, rather than according to an oppressive societal hierarchy?”
