Leslie David is a French designer and art director based in Paris. One of the most interesting image-makers working today, she’s also the founder and creative director of the Leslie David Studio. She’s created album artwork for Metronomy, painted photo posters for a French music festival, typography for Chanel and textiles for Kitsuné. We featured her “Liquid” series on WePresent – a project which grew out of a commission she did for Lancôme and which can be interpreted in a myriad of ways – and when asked what she saw in them, the designer answered: “to me they are very sensual, almost sexual; I see lips, tongues, drool, mucus, scum and body parts lost in a psychedelic landscape.”
