London based artist and director Kyle Bean is known for his playful, tactile and conceptual style. Specializing in handcrafted design and imagery, Kyle works across disciplines from directing to set design with selected clients including Wallpaper*, Vogue, The Gourmand, Google and LEGO, to name a few. WePresent featured Kyle’s photo series with still life photographer Aaron Tilley. Created for Kinfolk magazine’s adrenaline issue, “In Anxious Anticipation” is a precise study of precariousness. Tasked with the brief of creating an “internal whoosh” for viewers of their compositions, Kyle and Aaron’s series was accompanied by an essay by Jordan Kushin, and we think they succeeded.
