Kin Coedel is a Chinese photographer based in Los Angeles, and active in Shanghai, Tokyo and London. Coedel never set out to become a photographer; he found a twelve-dollar film camera in a flea market in Seattle while on a road trip with friends, and the rest is history. His photos often focus on beauty and nature, and they have a dreamlike, nostalgic aesthetic. We featured his series “Dyal Thak,” documenting the changing lives of Tibetian nomads.
