Kim van Vuuren is an independent graphic designer, painter and illustrator based in Barcelona and South Africa. The Capetonian artist’s client work is extensive, but it was her project “fifty forms,” a project Kim started as a way to create away from her client work, which drew us in. Twice a week, Kim makes a composition in just a few hours (no more) and the result is a wonderful collection of works that display a well-considered balance between abstract forms, geometric shapes, colors and patterns. We featured some of them on WePresent and discovered what the project has meant to Kim.
