Kevin Cummins is a London-based music and portrait photographer from Manchester, England. The burgeoning punk scene in the town where he grew up dominated his early work, cementing his reputation, even then, as one of the premier documentary photographers of the era. Kevin’s work has been, and continues to be, included in countless exhibitions, publications and permanent collections around the world. As part of WeTransfer Studios’ collaboration with Rankin, “The Backstage Sessions,” Kevin contributed to the three-video series as a photographer who shot some of the most iconic rock and roll images ever produced.
