Based in East London, still-life photographer Kate Jackling has shot for brands such as Mulberry, Cos and Burberry, and created work for publications from the New York Times to Wallpaper. Despite being one of the industry’s most sought after image makers, it was her personal project “Fifty-Fifty” which led her to be featured on WePresent: she wanted to move away from the rigidity that can come with being a studio-based still life photographer. Kate spoke to us about her influences, her desire to work with natural elements, and a beamsplitter (or two-way) mirror.
