London based artist Jonathan G. Ernesto uses design and illustration to explore complex subjects in a visual format, from mental health to human mortality. Mostly working with pencil and ink, Jonathan makes very detailed hand-drawn images. His approach to his creations, as well as his own struggles with mental health, made Jonathan the ideal collaborator for our piece exploring “Sanctus,” the mental health in the workplace movement, kicked off by James Routledge. Drawing and illustration have been integral to Jonathan’s own mental wellbeing, and he brought “Sanctus” to life for WePresent in 2015.
“Drawing allows me to let me have that time to engage with my feelings.”
