Born in Rhode Island, USA in 2000, John Kinnane is the youngest of ten siblings. Together, eight of them founded Kinnane Brothers, an independent film company. Within their company John takes the role of writer and VFX, though he can also be described as a writer, editor, producer and aspiring screenwriter and director. In addition to their production work, John created “Screenplayed,” a website for screenwriters, when he was 17. “Screenplayed” plays iconic movie scenes alongside the original scripts that informed them. We spoke to him about how this idea came to life and his favorite scenes in cinema.
