Johanna Seidel is a German visual artist based in Dresden. A graduate from the Academy of Fine Arts Dresden, her dreamlike, atmospheric work is centered around what she describes as “perceived realities.” For years, she’s captured the adventure, tenderness and intimacy of girlhood, but now her protagonists are growing up, more mature and more explicit in their desires.
