British photographer Joel Redman travels the world documenting unique stories relating to communities, climate change and the environment. He traveled to South Africa as part of WeTransfer’s Union of Concerned Photographers series to capture the freshwater crisis in Cape Town. His photos shot from the air show dangerously dry landscapes to emphasize just how urgent the city’s water problems are becoming. Other projects have seen him shoot in remote deserts, the Arctic Circle and closer to home in the UK. Redman has created work for the New Yorker, BBC, DFIDD, GEO Magazine, and has exhibited in London and New York.
