Jesse Boykins is a Jamaican-American vocalist, songwriter and producer based in LA. Describing himself as a “visual artist that makes music”, Jesse’s musical style is rooted in R&B with a wide scope of influences. With such a spectrum of inspirations it might be easy to lose yourself amongst them, but authenticity is paramount for Jesse. He told WePresent about his process, collaborators and why now more than ever, he wants to “inspire young people to be themselves.”
“I want to inspire young people to be themselves and whatever they want to create and challenge themselves in that. The idea is that art is a cure, and that being yourself is a cure.”
