Based in New York, illustrator Jasu Hu was born in Hunan, a province in South Central China. The recipient of numerous awards, Jasu’s work has appeared in publications and exhibitions across the globe including the New York Times, the New Yorker and the Washington Post. Among her clients are VOGUE, Airbnb, American MIND and ESPN, to name a few. Jasu spoke to WePresent about her work, and why Mark Rothko made her cry so much.
