German illustrator Jan Buchczik uses simple, cartoonish line drawings and vibrant colors to bring ideas, characters, and stories to life. His witty artworks have appeared in publications like the New York Times, the New Yorker, Bloomberg BusinessWeek, MIT Technology Review, and Vanity Fair, and he has exhibited in Frankfurt, Berlin, and Dusseldorf. We were especially drawn to Jan’s project Of Coursica, a surreal little riso-printed zine that explores the weird state of mind you enter when jet-lagged.
