Minneapolis-based art director and photographer Jack Samels embraces visual storytelling in all its forms. With a keen eye for color and movement, he’s overseen branding, advertising, poster design, animations, and more for clients like Boiler Room, Desperados, Nike, Ace & Tate, and Channel 4, while maintaining his own robust personal practice. We were drawn to Jack’s gestural, texture-filled collage works, in which he weaves together found imagery and his photographs to create what he calls “visual poems.”
