Ilan Lampl is a London based writer and director. With roots in elite gymnastics and fashion filmmaking, he has a sharp eye for dynamic storytelling. Influenced by his Dutch roots and heritage across Europe, South America and the Middle East, his upbringing informs consistent explorations of presence, identity, and inner worlds within his work. We premiered his short film “Lucha,” which follows young Canarian wrestlers as they train and fight in the arid volcanic landscape of Fuerteventura.
