Since he first rose to fame during the 1960s, Gered Mankowitz has been recognized as one of the rockstars of music photography, shooting everyone from the Rolling Stones and Jimi Hendrix to Kate Bush and Elton John, to Oasis and Buena Vista Social Club. Gered is featured on WePresent as part of “The Backstage Sessions,” a collaboration between WeTransfer Studios and the legendary photographer Rankin. The three-part video series explored the craft of capturing musicians on film.
